Are you a UID-student considering studying at one of our partner schools? As an exchange student you do not pay tuition fees, and you can apply to have your credits transferred to your education. To be able to do an exchange period, an existing agreement between the universities is required. The Umeå University scholarship selections are made once annually, in conjunction with the autumn term intakes. Selections are based only on merit. To be considered for this scholarship, an applicant must: - Submit a complete application for admissions before February 1.

It began as a medical school in 1957 and was inaugurated eight years later as Umeå University by King Gustav VI Adolf.
